Absolutely correct Rajesh sir. Even in normal years (2010,2009,2008...) past 5-10 years Bangalore rain has decreased, sometimes it does not even rain 500mm in entire year. South interior peninsular India is in for desertification. Now Bangalore is hot like summer.
Rajeshbhai, outlook for western vidarbha ?..........potey
after a long tymm panvel received a rain shower for 20 mints!!!
Hi Rajesh, any positive news on the monsoon front. Seems next week it i sgoing to super dry across india . Will the trough reconvene by 25th
Regards, Ananth
Cmdr Potey: W.Vidarbha it seems will not have meaningfull increase in rainfall till Thursday 28th, at least. Almost dry, except some local convective showers, in isolated pockets. But no widespread rain from any systems or mass cloudings. Day temperatures may rise to 38/39c levels.

Seems the break monsoon will continue till Mid july and plenty of rains to North east(which will all run to the sea) and foot hills of himalayas. A great drought is looming large.
anonymous: Concerned, yes...but i would not worry, as such the COLA and other models change their runs depending on the situation...i know the MJO is weak and will remain so till 30th june at least..
