Mumbai: after a very hot weekend, Mumbai sees the expected fall in day temperatures..from 40.9c on Saturday 27th to 34.0c (7c fall) on Monday 29th.

Now, this week , next 4 days will be around 32/33c, ok temperatures wise. BUT, with higher humidity, meaning more sweaty. The "Real Feel*" temperatures wil  be 36c. Nights will be stuffy than before.

Pune : Next 4 days around 37/38c, same as the current range, but better at night with a minimum of 17/18c. Wit lower humidity, in spite of higher temperatures, Pune Real Feel* will be 32c.

* Real Feel Temperatures is the actual temperature that the body feels taking into consideration the wind factor and the Humidity. 

This week next 4 days:

Surat: also better now than previous weekend, with the day around 37c on 29th. expected this week to be around 37c, but with a High Real Feel of 38c.

Delhi: Getting much better (From the 40c)  and tolerable weather with days around 35/36c, and pleasant nights at 16/17c

Jabalpur; Hot, around 39c, with slight dip in minimum to around 21c. 

Scenario Expected: 

A Low is expected in the Bay , just East of the Andamans by 31st. The system will strengthen, BUT will move NE towards Myanmar.

The heat from Coastal regions of West Coast will reduce , and as shown in this Map, the interiors will heat up in first week of April.

Delhi (Safdarjung): 40.1c, 8 degree above normal,  this is also highest temperature recorded there in at least last 12 years in march

Agra : 41.1c, 6 degree above normal Jhansi : 42.3, 6 degree above normal. This is also the highest temperature recorded there in at least last 10 years in March

 Barmer : 42.6, 6 degree above normal

 Bikaner : 41.7, 7 degree above normal

Churu: 43.3c, 8 degree above normal Jaislmer : 41.6c, 6 degree above normal

Kota : 42.8c, 7 degree above normal Pilani : 41.9c, 8 degree above normal

Temperatures in north india continues to make new record this year. After jan and feb, march temperatures also continues to be running significantly above normal 

Delhi (Safdarjung) today recorded: 40.1c, which was 8 degree above normal. This is the highest temperature recorded there in march in last 76 years. Credits : IMD.

Lanina theory of cooling need to be seriously revisited. Last year despite of elnino entire north india expierenced below normal temperatures for major part of spring and summers.

The Indian sub Continent has started heating ..with several places crossing the 40c mark...and we see patches of above normal heat in Saurashtra and Kutch, Konkan and H.P...many other places are also marginally above normal...seen from the anomaly Map of 27th.

Gujarat & Konkan is seen as a Hot Spots , with several places going above 40c and above normal...

Next three days , Ahmedabad & Surat and parts of Saurashtra & Kutch are expected to touch  40c.or more. This Saturday /Sunday will be Hot at >40c. in some spots of Saurashtra. 

Konkan will be Hot next 3 days also..

Bharuch will be very hot at 41c (or more)this weekend. expected to be better after Monday when we see a drop of 3/4 degrees.

Konkan too has been unusually y hot...with some temperatures like Murbad touching an unbearable 44c on 26th.

Mumbai expected 38-40c this weekend....But expecting drop in Mumbai day temperatures From Monday 29th. a least to 35/36c levels.

Churu...The extreme Place..Jumps from the lowest in the Plains of India (In Winter) to the Highest in the country on 21st March...Recording 41c  !

Four days into March, Mumbai Scruz sizzles at 38c

Mumbai witnessed its hottest day of the season so far on Thursday 4th March 2021, , recording a maximum temperature of 38.1c  in Santacruz, up from 37.3c a day earlier. Average Humidity is 53%.

 40c on 4th March 1981..at Colaba Mumbai was the first 40c in India that year., and todate March Record for Colaba.

It is not an unusual event as...

In Scruz, It was 41.3 on  17th , march in 2011, 41.0c in 2015 on 26th March...and It was 41.0c on 26th March in 2018.. 

Hottest temperature at Scuz for March ever was 41.7c on 28th March 1956.

Mumbai Temperatures in the Daytime are expected to fall to 33/34c ( 4c drop) levels , and nights steady around 21c from Saturday 6th thru Wednesday 10th...But Humidity can increase
