a amateurish question..does this phenomenon have anything to do with La Nina...Because i remember some articles before saying it will be a cooler than normal winter..even india was expected to have cooler than normal condition...
I personally do not think this winter in U.K. has anything connected to La Nina. La nina effect is in the troics, and California , or the lower west coast of US. But the europe cold is a result of artic air rushing south. Its an artic effect.
