Weekend: 3rd/4th/5th July:
Mumbai/Thane: The wait for meaningful rains may end from this weekend. Mumbai will get heavy rains commencing Friday 3rd and on Saturday 4th will see typical Mumbai Monsoon rains. Expecting local flooding on Saturday in vulnerable areas. Friday & Saturday we can expect around 150-170 mms cumulative.
Hopefully lakes will get a filled up as the Mumbai lakes are just 8% full now.
Pune: Rainfall will be good and meaningful on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th. Rainfall around 30-40 mms expected on Saturday.
Goa: A wet weekend with rains moderate to heavy rains this weekend. Frequent showers with heavy interspersed showers.
Surat: Very good heavy showers expected in Surat and Bharuch regions from Sunday thru Monday.Rainfall may exceed 100 mms on Sunday.
Moderate rains from 10-20 mms expected in Marathwada and Aurangabad district next 3/4 days. Will be keeping soil moisture sufficiently good.
Coastal Saurashtra regions will start getting rains from Saturday 4th, and on 5th and 6th, the complete Saurashtra region will get heavy showers. Junagadh can get around 40-50 mms /day on 5th and 6th.
