Lingering heat wave in Japan leaves 19 dead, 9,800 in hospital

Torrential Rains in Pakistan Punjab: 

Very heavy rains lashed the Punjab region of Pakistan. Our vagaries map hadestimated the region's rain with "light green" colour code.

Islamabad was lashed with heavy rains, with Saidapur station measuring 202 mms in 24 hrs ended 7 pm PST Tuesday. Other stations within the capital measured : Z/P 109 mms and Golra 91 mms. Maximum day temperature in Islamabad today was 23c.
Neighbouring Rawalpindi received 103 mms. Muree saw 62 mms, Sialot 60 mms and Faisalalbad, in just 3 hrs ended 7 pm PST, measured 71 mms.

Heavy rains can shift to Balochistan tomorrow. Rains, though on a reduced note, continues on 14th in Punjab and Central and Upper Sindh regions of Pakistan.
Light rains in Southern and coastal Sindh tomorrow.
