See the "Precipitation Accumulation" for Mumbai in Doppler Radar. Very interesting. We can clearly see the distribution of rainfall on both sides of the western ghats

I made it to office by 12 noon - i.e 4 hours nearly after leaving home. Mumbai is staying afloat due to the few breaks in-between. Its still drizzling in SoBo.

Do you guys have any information reg. the road having sunk in at Dadar TT ?

My estimate is that SCZ would have received 75 - 100 mms from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM. It is still raining moderately here at Andheri West.

NT: 46 mms at Scruz till 11.30 am Monday

Santacruz got 181 mm of rains in last 24 hours. @emkay Dadar TT road was waterlogged in the morning. Now it should be ok as rain has eased off.

correct thane - belapur - navi Mumbai saw maximum rain -

sunday morning - 140 mm
Monday morning - 250 mm

approximately 350-400mm fell in 3 days - during monsoon start. Infact now it seems Mumbai will compete with Augumbe and Mangalore

Cmdr Potey: I think the Akola region of Vid will get thunder showers in many regions , but not widespread, on Tuesday and Wednesday. I expect an increase in rains with sime heavy falls on Thursday and Friday. Soil should be ready for sowing from then onwards..but since decision is vital, we go day by day after Wednesday
