Posted 19th morning :

A low pressure area is likely to form in the South West Arabian Sea on 22nd.
A trough from the system will possibly extend to the Maharashtra coast. Possibility of forming a "fulcrum low" in interiors of Madhya Maharashtra.

Good chances of moderate rains in Konkan and Madhya Maharashtra on 23rd and 24th December.

Mumbai : Good chances of rain showers on 23rd and 24th December.
Chances dim of winters getting cooler soon in Mumbai.

Pune : chance of rain showers on 23rd and 24th. Winter temperatures will rise from 20th.
Goa can get some showers on 22nd and 23rd.

Hi Rajesh, what's a fulcrum low?

When a low pressure area sort of supports a trough, running ffom the low, and the trough is sort of "hinged on" to the low, i call it a "fulcrum" low.
I have mentioned it many times in the Monsoon. The seasonal low in Thar is a sort of support to the off shore trough along west coast and a good example of the fulcrum low.
Its a old term coined by me.

So you think it's unusual for this time of the year! ? Any examples from the past where rains happened in West Coast or Mumbai in December without help of a cyclone!?
