Posted 29th Night:

IMD has announced today the withdrawal of the South West Monsoon from West Rajasthan and Kutch..

Vagaries, as per Withdrawal criteria, sees the monsoon already withdrawn from Rajasthan, North Gujarat, Punjab,and Haryana and Delhi.

Withdrawal pattern will now continue thru M.P. West U.P. and Gujarat region next 3/4days.

A Low, AS-1,is expected to form in the SE Arabian Sea around the 5th/6th of October.As per present indications, expected to strengthen and track NW.

Mumbai will see stray thunder showers Sunday/Monday. Heavy thunder shower expected on Tuesday.

Strong system likely in Arabian sea in 1st week of October. Interesting to see where it's track.

Rajesh Sir, would NW India witness a wet Navaratri this year? GFS models seem to indicate so. Is that correct, or erroneous?

We say withdrawl of monsoon but AS low is read to hit NW India, earlier also Bay low stalled SWM withdrawl - so many hurdles for NEM start.... last 3 years also similar issues.

As low will travel to north west direction so no chance of rain to north india...
