Mumbai:
Rain fury eased to some extent from Monday evening,
Tuesday will see occasional showers with a few heavy spells in some parts of City. Average rainfall expected around 35-45 mms. Windy conditions.
Wednesday same, but slightly reduced rainfall. 

South West Monsoon has moved into Gujarat region. Valsad 256 mms,  Baroda recorded 64 mms, and Surat 16 mms  of rain in 12 hrs on Monday.

The Northern and NW regions of India will get pre monsoon showers from 27th. Monsoon likely in Delhi region around 1st July.Day temperatures drop below 40c after the 28th June.

Ahmedabad: With monsoon advancing, Ahmadabad can expect showers on Tuesday with days getting cooler. 

We see some rainfall moving into the Sindh regions of Pakistan. Light showers next few days .
Karachi will be cloudy with light drizzles on Tuesday and Wednesday, with some increase in rainfall on Thursday. Monsoon expected to move in 5th July.

Great news for us... sir is there any uac going to form off the gujarat coast that will cause rain in karachi??

We should not compare umargam with anantapur. Anantapur is semi arid region. Umargam is northern tip of konkan and gets around 2000mm annual rain.

Morning. How has the rainfall been over the Mumbai lakes areas last 48 hours ? Is there any site which lists the rainfall in the catchment regions ?

Great rains continuing in Karnataka Ghats. Agumbe goes past June Average.
Now at 1659 mm. Average is 1617 mm.

Agumbe total for the June month 1962 mm, highest in last one decade and today 28th June Agumbe has received 302.8 mm, it is 24 hours rainfall highest since last 10 years in June.

It is said that bad mouth word spreads... Guj is way behind in monsoon schedule and even on 28th June almost 50 pc of Gujarat is deprived of rains... some person over here continously blames Guj & Maha for less rains in South... now that south has got adequate rains hope that person becomes normal... Moreso hope that Guj, Mah & MP start getting their above-average dues in rains...
