To Shri Rajesh Kapadia on completing TEN glorious years of Weather reporting...
from Vagaries Of The Weather (Wapp Group).
 Concept by Vagarian Salil Kawli

Congratulations to all Vagarians. From Pune I send my deep appreciation and gratitude to all.
It is a totally joint effort and through many contributions Vagaries had come this far in 10 years. Vagaries is now well known not only in our Sub Continent Region, but has followers and readers from the American Continent and Europe, besides very frequent Middle East Visitors.
As it has become a good platform for Weather Enthusiasts and brought together Weather " freaks" from all over the India-Pakistan Region, it is a good source of information sharing and turned out to be a "friends finder " :-).

Let us all keep the name of Vagaries as the most reliable and most informative weather site.
Thanks to all co authors....Rajesh Kapadia.

Congratulations Rajesh sir. Thanks for keeping us updated about weather in Pakistan, as well as other places of the world. Your predictions are usually accurate, but your latest prediction of an average of 11-15 mm rainfall in Karachi last Wednesday turned out to be totally incorrect. It didn't rain at all in Karachi last week. Actually, even our weather department - Pakistan Meteoroligcal Department (PMD) - was saying that there would be heavy rain and strong winds in Karachi, but they turned out to be completely wrong. Even weather forecast models were showing rain in Karachi, which turned out to be wrong. Weather conditions change so rapidly and sometimes are very unpredictable. I hope that we will get proper rains in Sindh, including Karachi, this year (God willing).

Hi Rajesh,

Congratulations on completion of a wonderful 10 years of Vagaries. I have no understanding of the technicalities of the monsoon but look forward to the Mumbai monsoon just to read your blog. When the Mascarane high gives you a high, I rejoice. When you say that the Bay low is a worrying factor, I lose sleep too ! If you say the MJO is strengthening, I feel strong too. I dont know what these are but they have a strong magical influence on me every monsoon. You say that the equatorial winds are disorganised and I imagine that I can give them one spank and put them back in order. Thats how your blog can create excitement even in a non weather specialist like me. You make my monsoon even more charming and lovely than what it is. I truly enjoy this like I am sure all other weather lovers and readers of your blog do. Wishing you and the Vagaries team many more decades of weather blogging and forecasting,

Suresh
