The Storage of water at Lakes supplying water to the city is
- 18.28%Combined live storage across all lakes compared to 8.18% same time last year. 264,616 million litres - Live storage as at 6 am 01 Jul 2021. [Annual requirement: 1,447,363 million litres, Total capacity: 1,778,000 million litres]
- 69Number of days of supply left in all lakes combined (@ 3,850 million litres BMC supplies to city each day as against a need of 4,200 million litres).
Mumbai: Rainfall is subdued since the last 3 days in Mumbai. Not very much to expect this weekend.
Also, the weekend , 3rd/4th/5th, will see partly cloudy with sunny intervals ⛅. A few showers to remind us of the prevailing Monsoon season. (Maybe a couple of additional showers on Monday). Warm day , with the real fell temperatures at 37c, and sweaty with high humidity.
Pune: Partly cloudy , with light rain in some parts.
Aurangabad Region: Will not be getting much rainfall on 3rd, 4th and 5th. sunny with partly cloudy, but warm and windy. This will add to the soil moisture reducing.
But, we can expect some increase in the rains on 6th and 7th, which may be very helpful. The crops will get relief.
