Many parts of south and central bangalore over 900 mm for the year. Just 70 short of 20 year normal and 40 short of 100 year average. High chance we might reach annual rain this month itself.

SO MUCH FOR ONE FELLOW WHO WAS STATING DESERTIFICATION OF BANGALORE....LOL

Lalbagh lake in central bangalore is over flowing.
Begur and Hulimavu lake in south bangalore quite full.

More intense rains in immediate future can cause issues.

Hi Rajesh
A question regarding the monsoon axis and its impact on rainfall.
Generally it is said that when the axis of the monsoon is close to Himalayas the foot hills of Himalayas get heavy rain and most of India experiences dry weather.

Right now the axis of the monsoon is close to the Himalayas but foot hills of Himalayas are dry and sunny. What is the explanation for this?
