With more than 20 mms of rain , Leh seems to have broken its June monthly record
I just noticed that I have not been giving rainfall figures in mm for above and below normal subdivisions/districts..will add those from july onwards..
Thanks to Rohit...I saw his comment on Leh and noticed the oversight on my part.
Appreciating GSB sir's painstaking effort to release such compilation in no time. Congratulations.
With 415 mms at Jawhar today ,North konkan completes hattrick of 400 mms ( 24 hrs rain) in 8 days ..
Add to this GUJ - Saurashtra-Kutch in floods - 300-400m many places. 3rd time since june such extreme rain have occurred.
Southern India is in quiet mode - fear is it is following worst 2016 pattern (after june no rain???
GUJ army on alert - best widespread rain. UAC + low pressure unleashes torrential rains 5th time. Below from IMD all in cms.

When will such rains occur over TN / Rayalseema / Cauvery basin requires such spells....
Rajesh sir has taken a punitive action by deleting one of the comment posted here I guess.....
Cauvery protest started between KAR and TN. It is high time weather scientist wakeup - Cauvery catchment areas becoming drier every passing year, KAR/TN droughts increasing- Modi government should start linking Cauvery river with MAHA rivers.
2017 monsoon seems to be dominated only by MAHA and to some extent GUJ (which will soon become excess)
Drought intensifies over Rayalseema,Anatapur,TN. Anantapur - mass exodus of people have started no water.
Very heavy rains here in Mira Road (North Mumbai)
Rains have decreased significantly after pounding for over two hours.
On n off heavy rain here in Mira road n bhayander from 5pm....n still continuing...sir your forecasts needed for the week....as per skymet articles ..rain may reduce in Mumbai...is it so....
Sir rain forecast for next week
Sunny day here in Mira Road (North Mumbai). Guess the rains have a taken a break or is it the silence before storm?

TOTAL BELOW AVERAGE DAYS (1-6-2017 to 30-6-2017) 11 (37%)
Thanks Ugaap for pointing out the error.
Ten percent any day makes a lot of difference in any analysis. Especially pertaining to Indian Monsoons !!
