With more than 20 mms of rain , Leh seems to have broken its June monthly record
I just noticed that I have not been giving rainfall figures in mm for above and below normal subdivisions/districts..will add those from july onwards..

With 415 mms at Jawhar today ,North konkan completes hattrick of 400 mms ( 24 hrs rain) in 8 days ..
Add to this GUJ - Saurashtra-Kutch in floods - 300-400m many places. 3rd time since june such extreme rain have occurred.
Southern India is in quiet mode - fear is it is following worst 2016 pattern (after june no rain???

Cauvery protest started between KAR and TN. It is high time weather scientist wakeup - Cauvery catchment areas becoming drier every passing year, KAR/TN droughts increasing- Modi government should start linking Cauvery river with MAHA rivers.
2017 monsoon seems to be dominated only by MAHA and to some extent GUJ (which will soon become excess)
