The reason for this maybe because of the presence of more moisture in the air due to the recent rains as a result of which the minimum temperatures have not dropped significantly. And also, it may rain again in Madhya Maharashtra (Deccan plateau) because of another trough forming...so I think the diurnal variation is less as compared to last year.

But as of 28 NOV 2014 vagaries records say "AN East West Trough at 700 and more prominent at 500 hp level runs across the 20N line along Gujarat > MP route. The wind meeting and curving brings medium clouding to the Konkan and Madhya Mah Regions. Trough expected to shift slightly South to around the 17N line by Monday Night..."

so conditions seem to be similar to "Shreyas" point? but temperatures show variance in 2014. Maybe reason is due to due to difference in pressure points during 2015 it was 1014hp and during
2014 it was 500hp.

shreyas/sset continuing from your comment, the isobar of 1012 and 1014 were very close to each other along the Northern part of ur west coast. Meaning there was strong North winds along the west coast on Friday and saturday night. This resulted in low temps at night along Konkan.
Interiors of Mah and South and SE winds which will not bring down night temps appreciably.
