Still above normal in Kathmandu.

In "Navi Mumbai" surrounded by hills and dense wooded forests - I can hear Cuckoos singing - probably hints end of rains and way to winter/spring....

Nice report.

The cooler weather pushes in from the north west.
East UP should have seen a fall by now.
Probably it is yet to reach Kathmandu.

Rains over TN are by no means heavy. State requires more intense spells of rains (300-400mm in 24 hrs).

http://www.thehindu.com/news/cities/chennai/chen-society/heavy-rains-till-friday-reservoirs-yet-to-fill-up/article6591831.ece

Reservoirs have less than 25 per cent of their capacity, Officials of the Water Resources Department said there has not been much rain in the catchment areas. Requires spells of rains 300-400mm in 24hrs or what ever for lakes to fill before NEM ends abruptly. NEM behavior can never be predicted.
