Why is humidity in Mumbai so high but karjat has less??
Karjat gets more rain than Mumbai. How is this possible??

@Konkani Don - Humidity in Mumbai is high as compared to Karjat because sea breeze is not reaching Karjat immediately...Mumbai being on the coast gets relief from high temperature due to early setting in of sea breeze whereas interior konkan regions like Karjat are still experiencing temperatures upto high 30s as sea breeze takes time to reach there.

Elusive climate:

For several hundred thousand years, the Sahara has alternated between desert and savanna grassland in a 41,000 year cycle caused by changes ("precession") in the Earth's axis as it rotates around the sun, which change the location of the North African Monsoon.
