A Western Disturbance (WD) is affecting the Western Himalayan region, bringing rain/snow to Himalayas. Cool winds behind this WD to cause temperature drop for Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra.
Mumbai: Daytime to get cooler in the coming days. Max temperature which is around 36C, can drop to around 30C on 6th January. Nights can get cooler to around 15C.
Thane region can see cooler nights around 13C-14C.
Pune: Days can remain around 30C, while nights will be cool around 10C. Rural areas and outskirts of Pune can see single digit minimum temperatures.
North Maharashtra districts of Nashik/Dhule/Jalgaon/Nandurbar can see minimums in single digits, with colder nights during 6th-7th January.
Gujarat: Weather to get colder with cool winds mainly from 6th January. Nights may drop to around 9C-10C near Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar. Baroda may also see minimum dropping to 10C-11C, while Kutch can be colder in single digit minimum temperature. Surat/Valsad may see around 14C-15C minimum temperature.
