Most of Himachal Pradesh is reporting significantly above-normal day temperatures.
Attached are the maximum temperatures (and their departures from normal) in Himachal Pradesh on 4 January.
Shimla: 23.1c (+12c): This is the new all-time record for January.
Solan: 29c (+11c): This the new all-time record for January
Sundernagar: 26c (+8c)
Bilaspur: 25.6c (+7c)
Dharamshala: 21.7c (+6c)
Hamirpur: 27.4c (+9c)
Kullu: 20c (+4c)
Manali: 15.3c (+5c)
With the incoming Western Disturbance (See the next post), day temperatures are expected to fall significantly in Himachal Pradesh from 5 January.
