Interior Maharashtra gets a taste of winter like temperatures for the first time this season.

Temperatures have dropped close to the "Normal" for this time of year, as mentioned in our earlier post.

Minimum temperatures recorded today 15th December morning:

Pune Shivajinagar 12.3°C

Nagpur Airport 12.8°C

Chandrapur 13°C

Satara 13.2°C

Ahmednagar 13.3°C

Ch. Sambhajinagar 13.5°C

Nashik 14.2°C

Sangli 14.9°C

Outlook till Monday 18th December:

Mumbai: Night temperatures may rise a little from/after 17th December. Still no proper winter chill. Days to be warmer around 32-33°C and nights initially around 20°C but may rise to 22-23°C early next week. 

Outskirts in Thane/Raigad/Palghar districts may see minimum temperatures till 15-17°C for next 2 days, but rising early next week. 

Pune: Winter chill may be felt at night and early morning for another day or two. Minimum temperatures can rise by 2-3°C by Monday 17th December. 

Some regions in Pune/Raigad/Satara/Kolhapur/Ratnagiri/Sindhudurg districts may see increased cloudiness around Ghats during 17th-19th December. Some drizzles or isolated light shower cannot be ruled out.

Temperature may drop again later next week.

Interior Maharashtra including Marathwada and Vidarbha districts can also see some rise in minimum temperatures by Monday 17th December, but may drop again later next week.
