Dear Rajesh, I belongs to Erode district of Tamilnadu (west). Usually during SWM the low pressure areas move inland for long distance (Odhisa , Bengal to MP, Maharashtra), but during NWM my district is just 350 kms from coast, we are not getting rains like MP or Chattisgarh. Why these systems during NWM are weak in general!? In this spell(last 3 days), we were not getting even 2 cm of rain.
