After a cold day on Wednesday in Northern India, we see the day temperatures rising slightly on Tuesday. Amritsar saw a high of 13c on Wednesday. Expected low for Amritsar on Thursday is expected to touch freezing point.

Rainfall increasing in Chennai from 22nd and getting warmer in Central India this weekend. 
Mumbai with East winds will see the thermometer touching 32c again ....
Islamabad touched 1.5c and Gujrat (Pakistan) dipped to 2.5c on Wednesday morning, while the coldest night this season was a marginal lower at 2.4c...Wednesday morning Karachi was a cool 10.5c.

The weekend forecast will be put up on Thursday night.

very contrasting northeast monsoons. \
2013 NEM -> nov-dec -> only cyclones which were useless and did not give any meaningful rains to TN resulting in severe drought.
2014 NEM -> nov-dec -> only weak-moderate easterlies and no cyclones -> gave only moderate rains. Rains of extreme spells ->200-400mm are not seen- will this happen (2005/2009)? Will NEM reach south AP to quench drought of rayalseema? Will NEM end by december?
