5 Million Views… and Still Soaring!
A Celebration of Passion, Perseverance & the Power of Weather

It fills me with immense joy and deep gratitude to share this milestone:

Vagaries of the Weather©️ has officially crossed 5,000,000 views!

What began on 15th July 2006 as a humble weather blog has grown into India’s 2nd and Internationally 28th most followed independent weather platform. Over the past 19 incredible years, Vagaries has built a vibrant community of passionate weather enthusiasts—students, scientists, farmers, construction planners, tourists, and dreamers—united by our shared fascination for the skies.

From decoding monsoons and tracking cyclones to guiding agriculture and outdoor planning, Vagaries has remained committed to bringing reliable, real-time weather analysis to everyone.

This milestone belongs to YOU.
Your trust, engagement, and encouragement have been the wind beneath our wings.

I’m deeply honoured to have been:
Recognised by the Indian Meteorological Society – Pune Chapter
Awarded by IITM Pune for contributions to Meteorology and Atmospheric Science

And grateful to have earned certifications from:
Harvard University – Science of Weather
University of Reading – Understanding the Weather
Udemy – Advanced Meteorological Analysis

As an extension of this journey, I also share:
“Vagaries – Weather Knowledge” – a companion blog featuring in-depth insights, rare phenomena, and takeaways from over 55 years of observation.

Thank you for being part of this journey.
Here’s to more clouds chased, more patterns decoded, and more magic shared—together.
