Weather outlook from 3rd to 6th March - slight relief from the hot weather
Mumbai: Days which are hovering in the late 30s could see a slight drop on 4th-5th March. Max temperature can be around 33C-35C. Afternoon and evening are likely to be windy. Night time low dropping to around 19C-20C. Thane district suburbs may be hotter in the day but slightly cooler in the night compared to Mumbai.
Pune: Days will continue to be hot around 36C. Nights can get cooler from 4th to 6th March, with minimums dropping to around 14C, with outskirts cooler around 12C.
Nashik/Dhule/Nandurbar districts may see cooler nights around 11C-13C during 4th to 6th March.
Temperatures will rise again from 6th March morning and Mumbai/Thane/konkan are likely to experience hot and dry weather in the afternoons with 37C-39C again.
Gujarat: Cooler and windy weather till 5th March. Northern parts of the state will see cooler days around 29-31C and nights around 10C. Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Baroda can be pleasant around 15C during early mornings. Sharp rise in temperatures after 6th March, with many places seeing daytime highs of above 37C.
After a very strong Western Disturbance (WD) which gave very heavy rain and snow in the Himalayas, another moderate intensity WD will affect the region during 3rd-4th March.
Cold winds to blow across northern plains, Rajasthan, Gujarat and into Madhya Pradesh behind this WD. This could be the last cool 'winter like' weather of this season (4th to 6th March) for most regions.
