Maghi Ganpati (Ganesh Jayanti) is during winter season over Maharashtra ..

Maharashtra has sunny , clear , dry days and cool nights ..
Diurnal temp range can be high over Maharashtra during this season, even along the coast..

1. Coastal Maharashtra 
Fine and sunny weather prevails over Konkan and Goa ..
Nights become cooler as we move away from the sea shore ..




2. Deccan plateau (Maharashtra)
Fine, sunny and dry weather prevails over the Deccan plateau. 
North Deccan plateau is cooler than South Deccan plateau.

Nights can get cold  ..

Diurnal temp range can be very high and go upto 25 c ..


During this period , the average temps over Deccan plateau show a marginal increase as compared to the mid January period of Makar Sankranti.

You are very well connecting festivals with weather trends observed- we have our own remembrance of weather patterns during diwali and chirstmas but you are doing a great job of linking and ikning all festivals with weather that too with stats which are difficult to collect and represent- great work -
