A weak low is developing off Kerala coast on 21st.

Likely to strengthen  move North along West Coast towards Maharashtra by 23rd.

Rainfall will increase in Madhya Maharashtra  from 22nd thru the weekend

After a " low rainfall period, Mumbai will see increasing rainfall from Friday 23rd Night. Good spell of rainfall will continue till Sunday. No Alert. 

Pune : Even on getting good rains, Pune will continue to get showers next 4 days. Cooler weather ahead now.( 30°~21°).

15th August Night:

A low pressure is likely to form in West Bengal region by 16th, and possibly track along the axis. This will enhance rainfall along path in the next 3/4 days.

Heavy rainfall expected again in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Delhi and East U.P. from 16th - 19th.

Very heavy rains likely in Kerala and South T.N. from 16th -18th.

Moderate increase of rain intensity expected in Marathwada and Vidharbh (Maharashtra) from 17th thru the weekend.

Mumbai:

Contrary to hear-say, it is not the end of the Monsoon for Mumbai.

Mumbai in surplus today, averaging +30%, and has enough water stock to last a year now. at 93%.

Weather will be sunny and hot with few passing showers till 20th..after which Mumbai can see some more rains.

Pune:

Warm and humid, uncomfortable for a Pune mid monsoon time. But we see things changing with some rains from 18th to 21st August.

Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad): The dry spell likely to end with some moderate increasing rains from 18th into next week. Rains will be around 10 mm/day. Should be beneficial to standing crops and watering of the fields ( Now going on) could be stopped.

संभाजीनगर (औरंगाबाद): 18 तारखेपासून पुढील आठवड्यात काही प्रमाणात वाढणाऱ्या पावसाने कोरडा काळ संपण्याची शक्यता आहे. पाऊस सुमारे 10 मिमी/दिवस असेल. उभ्या पिकांना फायदेशीर व्हावे आणि शेताला पाणी देणे (आता चालू आहे) थांबवता येईल.

Monsoon winds are currently weak off the Maharashtra Coast. Hence:

Mumbai: Few passing showers.

The current (almost) dryish spell will continue this week till 19th.⛅

Sunny periods will get the days warmer to reach 31/32°c.

Mumbai Scruz has received good rainfall as on date with 2222 mms...which translates to +34%.

Mumbai colaba has received 2018 mms, which is +25%.

Lakes are at 92.9% of total storage. 

Pune: Almost dry weather, with few light  showers in some parts. ⛅

Rainfall may be more after 18th.

Pune is in a healthy surplus with total rainfall till date at 734 mms, which is +74%.

Storage: Panshet 96%, Khadakwasla 91%, Mulshi 99%, Pawana 97%.
