18th March
(2 days Rain Outlook below)
As estimated, Yesterday the temperatures in MMR reduced to normal levels
Normalised Conditions) on 17-03-2026:
Mumbai SCZ: 31.1°C ( 2.5° below normal)
Borivali: 30.7°C
Deonar: 32.4°C
Vashi: 32.7°C
Mulund &Thane: 34°C NaviMumbai Airport: 34.3°C Koparkhairane: 34.7°C Badlapur: 35.3°C
Same urban setup... same concrete...yet temperatures today are normal to slightly below of climatologica averages!
But such days rarely make headlines.
Just last week. when Mumbai touched 40°C it was widely linked to global warming or concretization.
Shows how short-term spikes vs normal variability are often selectively highlighted.

Please make a compilation of how many days the temperature stayed above normal in just Bombay in the last 2 months versus how many days it was below normal and also compare the average of both deviations and then decide if temperatures are going up in general or staying down.
When you keep claiming that nobody notices when temperatures are below normal, the reason could be same as what you make up for temperature going up - a local phenomenon? But the numbers over a period will tell you whether temperature are on an average going up or doing down.
Don't miss the tree for the forest.
