Update from previous forecast:

While rains are expected to increase in north Madhya Maharashtra and north Konkan, the amount of rainfall from 4th to 6th September could be lesser for 

Mumbai region. Occasional moderate showers with a few heavy showers in MMR region, some gusty winds on 5th/6th September. The 3-day rainfall total could be around 70-120 mm. 

Thane district may get a bit heavier rain. 

No alerts for Mumbai. 

Dahanu/Palghar region may get heavier rains than Mumbai. 

Pune: Expecting only light showers with sunny intervals. Could be a bit windy on 5th/6th September. 

Forecast for Gujarat remains the same as earlier.
