Weather outlook from Wednesday, June 18 to Friday, June 20 - Active Monsoon conditions!

Twin low pressure systems...one over Gujarat (AS-2) and the other near West Bengal (BB-3).

BB-3 to move west - Monsoon will advance over entire eastern and central regions covering Bihar, eastern UP and Madhya Pradesh.

AS-2 low is keeping moisture confined to Gujarat/Saurashtra, so rains along the Konkan coast including Mumbai have eased on Tuesday 17th June.

Passing showers expected across Maharashtra and Goa coasts - likely to increase from tomorrow mainly for North Konkan and south Gujarat regions.

Mumbai: Moderate to heavy rains expected in MMR region, with some gusty west-southwesterly winds at times. Average rainfall can be between 40-80 mm/day across the city and suburbs. Few regions in Mumbai/Thane and Palghar districts may get heavier rains.

Ghats can receive heavier rains, possibly 100 mm/day or higher.

Pune: Moderate rains (around 20 mm/day), cool winds and pleasant weather.

Next 3 days - Nashik region is likely to receive heavier rains than Pune.

Gujarat: Rains likely to reduce in Saurashtra and Kutch regions as well as Ahmedabad/Gandhinagar after Wednesday, 18th June.

Delhi NCR region, Western parts of Uttar Pradesh and eastern Rajasthan can receive pre-monsoon thundershowers.
