North konkan and Madhya Maharashtra belt sees moisture increase till 3-5 km.
See Skew-T chart below - Temperature (red) and dew-point temperature (green) lines very close to each other, meaning high atmospheric moisture. Winds also westerlies from surface till around 600 hPa, and easterlies at 200 hPa indicating Monsoon setting in.
