The system in the Arabian Sea, now a well marked low , at 1012 mb, entered land at the Saurashtra tip at 21.4N and 71.3e around noon today. It has pulled away all , or whatever little moisture was present in its rear, thus clearing the Konkan coast.
Expect a few thunder cells to pop up along the northern tip of the western ghats today.

it seems that this low pressure is going to dump copious amounts of rain in kathiawad peninsula and kutch. already this region was a favourite destination during monsoon and a pre monsoon cyclone phet also gave early rains to this region.@Rajesh according to u will mumbai get any significant rain from this system ?today the day was quite sunny, in panvel nd i was expecting an afternoon thuderstorm but was dissapointed.
