Increasing intensity of post-monsoon Arabian sea cyclones in recent decades

As the cyclone is going to form in the Arabian Sea, let's have a look at the intensity of cyclones in this basin in the post-monsoon season during last 40 years (1982-2021).

The intensity of Arabian Sea cyclones in this basin during the pre-monsoon season is increasing at the rate of 8.5knots (16kmph)/decade. 
A total of 6 Category 3 or higher intensity of cyclones are observed during the period 1982-2021, and all the six cyclones are in the recent decade. Data: JTWC
