Outlook for 10th -15th April...

Mumbai: 

*Hot and humid...typical humid April weather with days around 35°c nights around 24-25°C. 

*Partly cloudy skies and good sea breeze towards evening. 

Interior konkan can heat up to 38-40°C. 

Pune

*Getting hotter in this week...max can rise to 37-38°C, possibly touching 39°C in some regions of the district. 

*Min to be around 20°C. 

*Chance of rain reduces from Monday 10th April...but another round of thundery activity possible around Friday 14th.

Few areas along Ghats of Maharashtra can see some localized thundery buildup for next 2-3 days...mainly south of Mahabaleshwar. 

Pre-monsoon rain/thunderstorms chances increase again from Friday 14th. 

Places in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra, eastern parts of Gujarat and parts of Madhya Pradesh could see max temperature rising to 40-42°C. 

Temperatures expected to rise across the country in the coming week, with a reduction of pre-monsoon rain activity.

Eastern India may see heatwave in some regions. Hot and dry northwest winds will reach Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh. 

Max Temperatures in these states can rise to 42-43°C. Sea breeze from Bay of Bengal to remain weak, so even parts of northeastern states could see hot weather.
