Mumbai & Pune Special 

A low pressure system can form in the Arabian Sea off  the Goa coast by 21st. System can strengthen and move NW.

This May month is definitely one for the records...more to come in the next 2 weeks with rainfall now.

Mumbai Scruz: 38 mm

Pune: 71 mm

Outlook for 17th - 20th And 21st - 24th

Mumbai:

* 17th - 20th: Partly Cloudy skies and getting cloudy by afternoon. 

Rain in parts of city with thunder.

Rainfall upto 10/15 mms per day.

* 21st - 24th: Increased rain and thunder frequency with rainfall exceeding 25 mms per day..

( Please take due precaution from 21st if any civil or outside work is in progress) 

Pune: 17th -24th: Moderate thundershowers in parts of city by afternoon 

Rainfall and thundershowers frequency increase from 21st. Squally winds.

Gujarat: Moderate rains may commence in South Gujarat from 21st May. Heavy rains in Saurashtra on 24th/25th.

Bharuch: Light rains on 23rd.

NW regions may feel the heat next week...maybe hot day conditions or heatwave in few pockets...but overall so far it has been much cooler than normal.
