Indian Heat is not making any headlines in peak summer month...and May not as hot and deadly as anticipated by several international agencies ( some had estimates even 50c 😄)

Several questions were raised to our Vagaries' team, in April ( when it was hotter than normal), as to what will happen in May ? Touching 50c ? 

Our team responded with assuring details that it would not necessarily rise in May.

Outlook for 14th - 18th May

Now, for most of Maharashtra and the Indian Heat belt, things do not look bad at all. Gujarat, Rajasthan and Delhi would be around the Normal mark at around 40/41c. No heat Wave next 10 days. 

Mumbai : 14th/15th/16th could see clouds and thundershowers in parts of city, with moderate showers. May not see rains on 17th. 

Day temperatures around 34°C and nights stuffy at 26/27°c.

Pune: 14/15/16/17/18 all days will see possible thundershowers in many parts of the city. 

No peak summer extreme heat ...Days at 33/34° and pleasant nights at 21/22°.

Mahabaleshwar: Afternoon thundershowers till 17th, keeping the day cool at 26° and pleasant night's at 18/20°

Sambahjinagar: Thunder showers likely till 17th, with the heat at around 39°c.
