Monsoon Not advancing as the Vorticity is concentrated over the circulation at 700 hpa..and as stated by Prakashji, Mumbai Hodogarph* shows the warm air advection arresting the convection of clouds...temporarilypreventing  cloud formation over North Konkan and Mumbai. Can change very fast.

*(hodograph,is one way of representing graphically the vertical pattern or profile of winds measured from a specific location during a certain time. ... This wind profile is represented by a hodograph that loops or curves clockwise.)

SWM 2019 turned vigorous over MAHA only after June 20th and rest is history - continuous rains till NOV. MAHA became worlds wettest place.

From a normal day with sun out in the morning to geting dark with heavy clouds and winds in spate of 15 mins.
Guess monsoon is at the door step here in Mira road, North Mumbai.

SWM 2019 for Maharashtra was so extreme, excess and intense that even if SWM 2020 is delayed or less for Maharashtra it is still better and also better for COVID scenario. More the delay or less better for Mumbai.
