Posted Sunday 21st Night:

The Low that has crept in from Myanmar via Bangladesh into West Bengal is now located NW of Kolkata, in Central areas of West Bengal.
System will track W/NW into Bihar and thence into Eastern U.P./adjoining North-East M.P. next 24 hrs.
Can we decipher it as BB-9 ? It has not come from the Bay ? 

Rainfall was reported from West Bengal on Sunday. Kolkata Dum Dum managed 36 mms till 8.30 pm in 12 hrs, Alipore received 29 mms in 12 hrs on Sunday. (We estimated around 70-90 mms in 24 hrs).

BB-8 will linger on in the South Rajasthan region for another 24 hrs.

Vikas: Indore got good rains now. And Ujjain 170 mms !.New system will weaken, though some rains can come to West MP by Tuesday.

Expectation increasing for Heavy Rains in Mumbai Konkan South Gujarat belt. It looks like a dry season more than like August. Can u pls indicate when shall heavy rains return to this belt.

Sir mumbai region is not receiving any meaningful rain since last 15 days...when will we see wet phase in this region... really waiting for those heavy rainy days

Akshay/sarfarajkhan: Expecting 9actually was expecting on Sunday also) a slight pick up on Monday and Tuesday. Maybe around 20-30 mms per day. But, a lull again from Thursday for a few days this week.Shall put up in blog article tonite

anoop: Very nominal relief for Punjab and Haryana next 2 days as system merge with axis. But no major big rains seen till this month end.
santosh: These systems have brought a lot of rains to MP. Now, with this Low moving west again, we can expect some rain in the east. But then some decrease in rains. Next Low around 28th Aug will be monitored.
