4th July Evening Posting:

Mumbai: Orange Alert for 6th &7th July

*Increase in rainfall intensity from 5th July Night. 

*Heavy showers on 5th night extending into 6th (Thursday). 

* 6th & 7th (Friday) will see very  continuous frequent heavy showers .

* 6th & 7th..Local flooding possible. Two days may see in excess of 150 mms.

6th and 7th will see very heavy showers in the Maharashtra Ghats Sections.. very heavy rains in Lonavala, Matheran and Mahabaleshwar.... To be cautious on Ghat travels.

Pune:

*Rainfall increasing from 6th and extending into 7th.

*Some heavy showers in parts of Pune. May see rainfall upto 30-40 mms.

* Very cool on 6th/7th, with days around 25c.

Sambhajinagar(Aurangabad):

* Heavy showers expected on 5th and 6th July. May prove good for the fresh crops. Days will be cool around 25c, and 24c in interiors.

Gujarat Region: ( Baroda/Bharuch): Increase in rainfall on 5th and 6th, with fairly heavy showers. 

Saurashtra will get moderate showers.
