Delhi is set to witness a much-awaited change  after one of its longest dry spells in recent years.

Safdarjung observatory last recorded measurable rainfall on 8 October 2025, soon after the southwest monsoon withdrew.

Only a trace was noted on 9 January 2026. Now, rainfall is expected to begin during the early hours of tomorrow.
