Modi and Environment ministers should give importance to states which are dependent on northeast monsoons - which are becoming non existent and all such states are becoming deserts. Before disaster government should wakeup. Chennai zero water is first warning bell from nature.
Going forwards years to become reliable monsoon will be only for Maharashtra, Orissa, MP, GUJ, RAJ. Northern states have Ganges.

Mumbai Maharashtra exceeds june quota in just 1 spell. Multiple places in range 500-200mm which is most vigorous june ever encountered. What is cause of such extreme rain? Some places in Konkan would have exceeded 800mm by end of june. Why vortex does not form over south coast?

What is fate of southern India? All south west coast Kerala.Karnataka are totally silent. No rains over Cauvery. Will monsoon revive or 2016 south India drought haunts again? Other side SE India is becoming desert. Chennai zero water has become global news strange vagaries has not mentioned about this. Next hit is Bangalore.

Rajesh ji, request for an analysis between wind patterns at different levels and how they should ideally look at different stages of SWM.
Observing earthnull site, no sync between each level, maybe coast gets benefit of moist surface winds, interiors affected by higher level wind patterns.
