Monsoon has advanced along the coast upto Goa....Rain amounts from PJ (Below post) and latest amounts confirm the advance..

Also, the satellite image above shows the Monsoon picking up independently South of Goa...
Inland regions still devoid of Monsoon.

Till 13th Morning, Harnai had 71 mms, , Panji 53 mms, Ratnagiri 47 mms,Mahableshwar 32  mms  Colaba 19 mms, Vagaries 18 mms (Pvt), Scruz 15 mms, Dadar Mumbai(Pvt) 13 mms, 12 mms.

{The tourist resort of Sonamarg and its adjoining areas received fresh snowfall on Wednesday, even as heavy rains lashed the rest of Jammu and Kashmir.
An official said that Sonamarg, Naranag and its adjoining areas in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district witnessed fresh snowfall today on Wednesday.
They said that more than one inch of snow has accumulated in Drass area on the Srinagar Leh highway.

The officials said that fresh snowfall has led to a cold wave in the area.}

I think the Cyclone defied all models and is going more towards the West then originally thought so. Only NAVGEM kept on showing a more Westward track.

How vayu has impacted the swm and when can we expect monsoon over Mumbai region after vayu cyclone...

As per Tropical Storm Risk site, the system will take a recurve and move towards Kutch coast as a cyclonic storm. If this happens then there will be good rains in Sau-Kutch and Gujarat. Also, Mah may benefit.
