Seems we are heading for another NEM failure (2014). Similar to last 3-4 years. Pattern is quite same NOV/DEC itself NEM vanishes.
i hope rain or thundershowers will occur in raigad and pune on 13 th -14th december. what is your view all the vagarians. if you have a view kindly comment on weather in maharashtra.

@abizer: According to me Mumbai won't get anything. Eastern suburbs may see towering clouds in the east from tomorrow but no meaningful rain. Pine will get rain from 11th evening till 13th morning.
Anoop: Yes rain is finally coming to our region. From 12th evening till 14th afternoon, light to moderate thundershowers are expected. Days temperature which are quite high could fall around 20c on 13 & 14 December.
@ abizer : LWD has form over western ghat from N. Maharashtra till Kanyakumari in south so this will trigger TS activity over ghat region and East side of ghat into Int. Maharashtra region. As upper level winds are westerlies so coastal belt rain chances are slim.
So Mumbai may remain cloudy from friday with max temp may drop to 29c on Saturday with few chances of drizzles can occur at isolated spot.
Interior parts of Konkan near ghats can get some shower/TS in same period with more chances in South Interior Konkan.
@ abizer: Belgaum to Nashik belt in Interior region has good chances of getting Thundershower starting tomorrow 11 Dec till 13 Dec.
Later activity shifting more East in Marathwada & Vidarbha region of Maharahstra over weekend i.e on 13/14 Dec as LWD tilting East into central part over Marathwada/ MP belt.
Above mention forecast is mine personal view.
