Vagaries was invited today to the BMC office by Shri Mahesh Narvekar, Chief Officer at Disaster Management Unit, MCGM.
He was very keen that Vagaries set up a team of 3/4 members to issue weather bulletins for Mumbai only. Also collaborate and help MCGM in tackling weather hazards by timely forecasting.
Shall be going ahead immediately and issuing the 1st Bulletin tonite.

Hi Rajesh, this is an excellent recognition for you and the Vagaries team . You have always been giving forecasts in a very quiet and unassuming way, with timely alerts in advance , An official bulletin now on comes with a bigger responsibility but you and the very strong team at Vagaries are the right people to take this on and these forecasts would reach a bigger audience now and help many more people prepare accordingly.
