The Anti Cyclone mentioned yesterday persisted and extended into Madhya Maharashtra. 

Resulting in low temperatures.  Surely  current this low temperatures was not expected.

Mumbai Scruz 14.0..(lowest ever for December is 10.6° in 1949)

Meanwhile,  Central and NW India continue to see cold temperatures.
