Khasi Hills from NE India are currently World Rain toppers ! As World’s Wettest place, Mawsynram & Cherrapunji crossed 11K & 10K milestone respectively in seasonal Rains & both on 13K+ for Annual tally !
Mawsynram recorded 11,335 mms in Seasonal Monsoonal Rainfall from 1st June till 30 Sep 2020. So with this Annual Rainfall so far since 1st January till date stands on 13,780 mms!
Cherrapunji recorded 10,871 mms in Seasonal Monsoonal Rainfall from 1st June till 30 Sep 2020. So with this Annual Rainfall so far since 1st January till date stands on 13,340 mms!
Back to home we have Amboli as 1st station to achieve 9K mark from Maharashtra ghat this season & 2nd in India & World level both after of Khasi hills!

Wonderful as always been in each season. So much of hard work in forecasting rains throught out the season and at the end of season presenting data in such a great way. It has been Lovely following the season through out with vagaries. Abhijit, Tejas and all vagarians ....what a great effort...Kudos to you Rajesh sir and all team mates....
