Dahanu Palghar back in style 400mm in 24hrs. I feel all weather scientist, union environment minsters, IIT, IISc engineers/professors, geologists should unite to find out optimal way to divert Maharashtra excess konkan water to interiors, southern India - nearest places north karnataka, AP Rayalseema,Chittor,Anantapur,Cadpa are always in drought- linking of rivers is very important. So much of Maharashtra monstrous rain water goes into sea.
2018 Maharashtra rains are exploding like atom bombs. Same period July 2017 first week was quiet and peaceful, but 2018 it is bombing from june 1st week itself. Another spell Mumbai completes its july quota.. Surprising Vagaries has not given name to bay low...

What is the near term forecast for central and north gujarat and saurashtra? Rains have been dismal so far...
