I have been observing for recent last 5 years... Rajaisthan and Gujarat (many parts) becoming wetter every passing year. Extended SWM which refused to retire + powerful western disturbances keep giving rains to NW India. It is high time geography is amended RAJ/Kutch is no more desert region.
On other side south east India is becoming drought impacted every passing year + desertification already started in Anantapur Rayalseema Cudpah Chittor and many parts of northern and interior TN. Agriculture and farming is becoming a past dream poor farmers have abandoned food production.
What happen if rains (NEM) fails Tamil Nadu and south AP - will Chennai survive?

31st August : New Low Pressure will form in Bay by 2nd September ...showing effect in Maharashtra, M.P and Gujarat from 3rd. Mumbai: 1st/2n...
